Magna Sinfonia bring to a close a wonderful week’s music-making with some of the great music you expect to hear at the BBC’s Last Night of the Proms. The featured work is Elgar’s ever-popular ‘cello concerto played by Nigel Blomiley, and the singing will be led by Christchurch Priory Choir. Bring flags and voices – and for lubrication, a glass of Prosecco (or soft drink if you prefer) is included in the ticket price.
