Magna Sinfonia is always looking for high-quality grade 8+ orchestral players to join our ranks, however, currently, we are particularly looking for string players, trumpeters, timpanists and percussionists. Step Inside the Music!
This is no ordinary concert. This is a unique chance to sit among the musicians and feel the music from the heart of the orchestra. Hear the violins soar, the brass roar, and the percussion rumble—all from the midst of the action. Prefer a more traditional experience? Standard seating is also available.

The Programme:

  • Rossini: Overture to The Thieving Magpie

  • Korngold: Violin Concerto, featuring the extraordinary Rose Gosney, leader of the National Youth Orchestra and BBC Young Musician of the Year 2024 quarter-finalist.

  • Shostakovich: Symphony No. 1, a thrilling masterpiece that showcases the orchestra’s full power.

Soloist: Rose Gosney

Our sensational soloist, is a rising star whose performances have captivated audiences across the UK. Don’t miss this chance to witness her artistry in the dazzling and cinematic Korngold Violin Concerto.

Conductor: Ondřej Soukup

Our guest conductor, returns for his second appearance with Magna Sinfonia, bringing his dynamic energy and interpretative brilliance to the podium.
